The sadness many of us felt during the quarantine and the monotony of the subsequent lockdown during informs the somber tone of these new entries to the world of Planeta Sandra. It is safe to say that the usual characters that inhabit that world are colorful to say the least. The Vagabundi, please see the Planeta Sandra exhibit on our exhibitions page, are so happy, they literally jump from place to place in such brightly colored attire, they can't be missed. While they are a happy lot living in a vibrant world, it appears, the same way that in our world, dogs can only see in blue and yellow, the Vaganbundi on Planeta Sandra can only dream in black & white.

A master of her technique, these new works are remarkable for their execution, mixing abstraction with the surreal, and dare way say, a hint of playfulness.
