This piece is a continuation of an ongoing series about the human body as a container of experiences. It started with the painting above. The series was inspired by a book titled: ‘The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma.’ It’s basically a scientific book about how our memories stay “stored” in the body and as a result, it affect us in ways that are sometimes unnoticeable. The coral-like elements are a material representation of memories and extreme experiences.
